This Account & Data Deletion Policy explains how users of the Affection Coaching Classes Android application and website can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.
This page satisfies Google Play's requirement for a publicly accessible data deletion mechanism for apps that collect user data.
1. What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove or anonymize:
- Profile information (name, email, phone, grade, board, avatar)
- Login credentials and session tokens
- Course enrollment records and lecture progress
- Quiz attempts, scores, and assignment submissions
- OTP verification logs associated with your email
- Uploaded profile photos (if any)
2. What May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained as required by law or legitimate business needs:
- Payment & invoice records — retained for up to 8 years for GST and tax compliance (personal identifiers may be anonymized where possible)
- Fraud prevention logs — anonymized security records for up to 1 year
- Aggregated analytics — non-identifiable statistical data
3. Delete Account from the Android App
- Open the Affection Coaching app and sign in
- Go to the Profile tab
- Scroll to Legal & Privacy section
- Tap Delete Account & Data
- Confirm by entering your account password
- Your account will be deleted immediately and you will be signed out
Warning: Account deletion is permanent. Active course access, progress, and certificates will be lost and cannot be recovered.
4. Delete Account via Email Request
If you cannot access the App, send an email to info@affectionofficial.com with:
- Subject line: Account Deletion Request
- Registered email address and phone number
- Full name as on the account
- Statement: "I request permanent deletion of my Affection account and all associated personal data."
We will verify ownership (via OTP to registered email/phone) and complete deletion within 30 days, typically within 7 business days.
5. Delete Account via API
Developers and automated clients may call our deletion endpoint:

6. Partial Data Deletion
You may update or remove specific profile fields (name, phone, avatar) from the App without deleting your entire account. For removal of specific data categories, contact info@affectionofficial.com.
7. Parent/Guardian Requests
Parents or legal guardians may request deletion of a minor's account by emailing info@affectionofficial.com with proof of guardianship and the child's registered email.
